Yes it is a good start, and when you get this working on a "live" audio
stream without glitches you already have a useful effect, a delay.
Just by controlling the time from audio in to audio out you have a nice
range of effects.

Hi Sam,
I bet a lot of folks would agree with me here - your plan is exactly the way
I would
approach it. Exactly. If you can get audio into a digital system and then
spit it
out and it sounds like it should (i.e. no [or inaudible] alias artifacts),
you can
then go about the fun of "messing up" the audio before it comes out.
