Yup. That's exactly what I was looking for. I was aware of the Musical
App of µprocessors book, but I didn't know if that was the one I
should get, and I figured that if there were one or two particular
book that were standouts, that would show through in the collective
wisdom of the list. Right now, I'm just hoping to get audio into an
ADC, get it to spew digital audio to a DAC, and get the audio back out
as an analog signal. If I can actually make that happen (yes, I know
that's useless by itself) then maybe we'll see what might follow from
that.
