Tough question: What are your goals? If you're looking for synth 
applications (possibly a good assumption on this list) then I'd throw in 
another vote for MAM. However, you said 'audio applications' which 
throws the door a bit wider. In that case I might also recommend Ken 
Pohlman's "Advanced Digital Audio". Also, don't forget that most 
mixed-signal silicon vendors (ADI, TI, LT, Maxim, etc) have fairly good 
app notes and tutorials available on their websites that can help with 
the basics.
