But seriously, folks...

Actually, no, I meant Franco.  The man's name is Sergio Franco.  He teaches
at San Francisco State University, and he wrote a standard textbook on
designing with opamps, "Design with Operational Amplifiers and Analog
Integrated Circuits."  He has published many excellent papers on frequency
compensation, among other topics, and there is no "de" in his name as far as
I can tell.
