Yes, and I can add (from personal experience, this time) that 2164
absolutely HATES having its power pins compromised in any way.  Not only
will reversing the power pins fry it instantly (no big surprise) but only
connecting one power pin will also fry it (that happened to me the other day
when one of my power connectors failed to make contact -- the -15V one, I
think.  All the 2164s on that rail died when I powered up the cabinet --
luckily there were only three -- I immediately pulled every power connector
out of my cabinet and am replacing them with a higher quality product).  A
more robust expo VCA would actually be most welcome in many different
situations.
