Oscar, case C requires no jumper.  The (10pF or so) capacitor goes between
two adjacent pads just next to the IC.  The resistors (and jumpers, if
necessary) are two pads away from the IC, pointing outward.

In my layouts, everything is case A or C (depending on whether I install the
capacitor or not.  Sometimes it helps, sometimes it hinders).
