It's been a while since I looked at them, but I seem to recall the JP-4 and the JP-8 being different topologies than than the JP-6 (the latter being two 2-pole SVFs in cascade, the JP-4 and JP-8 being 4-pole-with-negative-feed-back)

Too lazy to look up the schematics at the moment. ;)
