Hi Ed,

The 2SC945 transistors are for the VCA section. For a stand alone module 
you would normally just take the output from the IC3 buffer and leave 
out the VCA section.

I assume the a798f is a 2SA798F

The 4558 could be any 4558 op amp or many other op amps.
