The 3140 has much lower input bias current, which could be a factor in
really high impedance circuits (S/H for example) but for S-DIY use the
TL07x series works for most uses.
I have not used the 3140 in a long time...

Has any one used the CA3140 or more, compared it to the TL074? The data
sheet says the CA3140 has a MOSFET input. Is that input anything special?
. . . and yes I know the bandwidth is better on the CA3140, but for use
under 1 Mhz, the band with shouldn't matter.
