[sdiy] Anything worth salvaging from old ATARI STs?

Hi Dave.

Unless they're actually dead, they might be worth giving away on
Craigslist (or the equivalent) to someone. That old hardware tends to
last forever, and it would be much better (at least IMO) to have it go
to someone interested in old systems (for vintage music/game software
purposes) than shipped to China to be recycled for raw material.

I'm more familiar with the Amiga side of that era, but it looks like
there is an interest in Atari STs based on the amount of software for
them being sold on eBay, so unless you live in a very remote/rural area
you'd probably get multiple people willing to pick them up if you
offered them for free.
