This was discussed a little on the day.  It's full of CMOS 4000 series
stuff and LM3900 and CA3080. Hardly exotica.

Colin Fraser (he of Sequentix fame) added MIDI to interface with the
digital keyboard scanner.

I am surprised no clones have been made of it apart from the Pixie.
