Well, yeah, you're right. However, unlike the generally unplayable synths I
find at my local music store today, the MS2000 series has almost every
parameter under realtime panel control, just like a semi-modular, and it
allows virtual patching, just like the MS-20 (but without the cords).
I know it ain't analog, but it comes just about as close as a "computer"
ever has. And it will give me something to noodle on while waiting to get
the power connectors in my modular redone.
