I'd also open up your spring reverb unit and see what's happening
inside there.. see if there are voltage regulators inside, find their
datasheet and see what minimum voltage they expect. If the regulators
are knocking that 30VAC down to +/- 15V then you should have no
trouble using a 24V adapter for example.
