i think Florian did say something about syncing the VCOs to the keyboard gate.
the VS has an interesting effect if you change patches while holding
keys down. i think the oscillators must reset when a different patch
is selected, as they all start in sync and then drift gradually off
to their programmed pitches over a few seconds. a very nice phase
effect ensues :-)
