The input impedance of the CGS46 is 150 k. That's pretty low. The
recommended input impedance for an electric guitar or bass is 1 M.
The gain (x20) is on the high side. Electric guitars and basses
can put out several volts peak to peak. How often will it clip ?
Depends on your pick-ups, strings and playing style.
