[sdiy] cheap BOSS dc adapter replacement?/switching noise PROBLEM?

i think i am learning that some chips will whine in JUST the way i described when sharing power. this only seems to come into play with a few chips so its only effecting one of my products.

this is by no means a deal breaker and yes, the box is very well bypassed and regulated.  (this isnt noise)

I even noticed a SPECIFIC statement on the moog site about the moogerfoogers which states NOT TO DAISYCHAIN power when using the boxes.

it stated that they should all use a separate power supply.


my only issue was when i tried daisychaining.

and it was only on one of the boxes.


i had never actually tried daisychaining before until i bought one of those 5 in 1 adapters from visualsound.

i think i can safely say that as the BOSS supply i am using is nothing special at all, this box will sound great as long as its powered from a 9v dc center neg adapter.
