A lot of people..me included really like the CS-20M/ CS-40M with the
sine that bypasses the filter. 2Vco units aren't always preferred but
of course you have more flexibility there. The Maxi-Korg is kind of
cool too..just got one of those a while back and with the two
independent 700S synth layers you have a lot of bandwidth too. And yeah
the SCI Pro - One is highly reputed of course but every one is a little
different flavor. The Roland SH's have their own unique flavor I
think. Not sure what all makes it that way. The way the vco is
designed and the different filters I suppose mostly.
