Hey Dan,

How about using an AC wallwart instead? They're cheap and readily
available just about anywhere. Then you need to put a rectifier,
regulator(s) and some caps on your project board and you're all set.
It keeps your customers from having to handle high voltage AC (which
is good if you're selling PCBs or kits).

As far as problem 2, sounds like there's not enough current from your
supply to run circuit C and anything else. Just a quick guess on that
one.
