[sdiy] simple circuit to adapt pedals in a module?

I'm working on making some guitar pedals and other kit designs that run
off a 9vt PS and take a high input into my modular synth. I've got the
power/regulator circuit down but was wondering if there is a simple
circuit to allow the mismatched audio signals to talk to each other
easily. I'm familiar with the CGS 46 and CGS 60 PCBs but was hoping for
something a bit simpler without the jacks and such since I might make some
old 9vt pedals into a module and also mount some module PCBs to make them
into guitar pedals. I just need a few builds of the basic part to
experiment with before I decide what I'll officially make.

An existing PCB design would be ideal but I can jury rig or breadboard
something too if it'll get the job done much cheaper.

Thanks for any/all info!
