Well, yes, but you haven't actually shown it hooked up to anything!

There are obviously umpteen cool and cost-effective ways to put a matrix on
a front panel.  It's the back of the panel that has me worried.  Given a
massive wall of individual modules, how would one even go about hooking them
into the matrix to start with?  By soldering leads from every single jack
into the back of the matrix?  What a mess that would be!  What if you wanted
to move your modules around?
