Well, I care more for the real Old Testament (and even more for the New
Testament)than I do for Matrices, or for DIY in general. :)

But speaking of crosstalk: simply measure the capacitance of typical
configurations (adjacent rows or columns, rw-column at a crosspoint), and then
make a small Spice simulation with a certain resistor value.
Then it's clear that you can minimize crosstalk by choosing a low impedance.
(That's why EMS used 2k7 I think.)
