[sdiy] UK guys - Rapid EndLine Sale Today!

I've had similar experiences with Rapid to Dave and that's why I'm so
keen on them - decent customer service is of great importance and I
don't get the same feeling from RS or Farnell.
My system just wasn't working yesterday so I had to telephone a large
order - at Rapid you always get someone good - the lady who took my
order yesterday was very friendly despite the zone-out-inducing order size.
And, yeah, on the very rare occasions something wrong has been sent
they're great for any replacements.
Orders reach you the next day 99% of the time.
Their website gives stock levels live - so if something says its
available it IS - ie no split orders.
But, agreed - they do have some holes in the range. But they're
approachable if you're going to order things - in fact, I think its
because I asked for (and got) some sub-mini switches in quantities that
they put me on the end-column-pricing.
I will ask them again about improving international options - it would
make so much sense.
Cheers,
Tom
