Thanks!

>What's wrong with Farnell ? They have improved during the past decade.

And now degenerating again! Pricing strategy, communication,
The element14 are joke, a call-center located in Bangalore
populated with people who knows nothing about Farnells
components etc, etc.

The worst thing are that these supliers are selling stuff
that do not mechanically match! Try to find a switch thats
matched to the heigt of a PCB mounted model 160 pot!?

Affordable to! Noone wants 10-15 different suppliers!

The in-purchasing staff are morons, a flat knob do not fit
a knurled pot shaft! Try to tell the top management at
Farnell this!

A industry standard pot do not cost 1.7euro in lots of 100
it costs 0.2 euro, yes indeed they confirm that and you get
that price if you say so to them, when you buy 500 pots of
same sort they try to pull yet another price shit thing!

Try to get them to explain for you the deal with Farnell-CPC?
Same products, way lower price, still different companies
according to them (bogus stuff) sales front different
but same purchasing management as Farnell!

All this is a slap in the face, customer wise!

>Unlike RS who have gone from expensive but hobbyist-
>friendly to expensive and hobbyist-hostile.

Was just going to mention them, yes they are a real drag
not only for hobbyists but for most small scale manufacturers
just look at their pricing strategy, hilarious to say the least!

I do had a god laugh when Paul S said he had to go to France
to get his damned pots! It's ridiculous how things are at the
moment!

8 euro for a 2164 in lots of 50?
Surely you must be joking Mr Fenyman?
