There's also a big difference between significant updates with impressive new features, and relatively minor bug fixes and tweaks.
I don't really get the point of Solaris. So far as I can tell it's just another polysynth - hopefully a nice-sounding polysynth, but there's no lack of nice-sounding polysynths already.
Yes, you can have Four Whole Oscillators!
Wow. Not.
It's basically a 1980s instrument that's very late - like a PPG Realizer that actually works (or will work) - not a 2010s instrument that's ahead of the game.
