[sdiy] Solaris at NAMM

A reasonable point, but there's a big difference between upgrades that an
end-user musician can purchase, and upgrades that can be performed by
someone who is well-versed in writing code for DSP chips and CPLDs. My point
is that, historically speaking, many musicians who purchased gear that came
with promises of being upgradeable for years to come have been disappointed.
