Hi Tom,

I explained my position at Freescale as an opener and mentioned that I work
with many of Fatar's customers, i.e. M-Audio, Save Smith Instruments, etc.

I further explained that several of us are building small volume of
controllers and do R&D for new product design. I indicated that we would
like to have the ability to buy small volume OEM keyboards from time to time
and could he support this effort?

He indicated that he could work something out and that he would be
interested in my contacting him directly in Italy to discuss schematics,
Mechanical parameters and models currently available for OEM.

He left me his business card and a catalog of products to review.

I can scan this catalog and post it somewhere if you guys are interested.

Next, I would like to host a S. Calif. Synth DIY meeting soon and again I am
sorry we could not meet up at NAMM.

I did have meetings with Dave Smith and Tom Oberheim and got some good
feedback from Tom and David on parts that still viable for synth building in
both Analog and Curtis devices.

Perhaps we can do some purchases from Dave Smith?

Best regards,

Terry
