[sdiy] What sort of filter is this?

Excuse me if I get a few of the terms wrong here, but what sort of
filter is neutral at it's middle position and then a high-pass and
low-pass filter on either end?

The reason I ask is that I'm looking for an analog variable filter to
add in the feedback path of a delay... I'd like to be able to have a
single knob where the centre position is basically unaffected and I
can either cut bass or cut treble. I'm not too sure if I'd want

Maybe I can even go a simple route and do it all passively somehow?
(Maybe with a centre-tapped pot, or dual gang pot?)
