[sdiy] OT: Tesla is hiring

Sorry for the double whammy (cross-posting AND being off topic), but
with the job market / economy the way it it, I just wanted to let
everyone know that Tesla Motors is looking to hire quite a few people
this year. We're especially interested in EE and ME types, in addtion
to technicians, drafters, and programmers. We'll also be hiring some
office staff and HR people. We're adding staff for new projects, and
moving to a much larger facility in Palo Alto, CA. Our facility in
southern CA is hiring also. We're looking for people with great chops,
but especially for people with passion. It helps if you're into cars,
but like I say, we're especially interested in people who really love
what they do, and who want a challenge. A zest for hobbies like SDIY,
robotics, mechanical stuff, solar / alternate energy and other
techno-nerdy stuff is a nice plus. Our phrase for new hires is
"Welcome to Tesla. You're 2 weeks behind." ;) Of course, that's one
reason we're hiring more people. It's a busy place, but there are some
