Ack!! Some years ago I trashed many of these too. They were salvaged
from old TV sets or radios.
But there doesn't seem to be consensus what a mustard cap really is.

Perhaps it's just the colour of the cap that matters? It's all about
colouring the sound, no? Can't I just take a standard cap and paint
it? ;-)
Oh wait, it's the material the leads are made from:

Following that logic, SMT caps are the best. No leads at all...
