[sdiy] SMT in a toaster oven

I looked at hot plates and they all have a coil for a heating element.  
The guys from Spark Fun said they prefer the hotplate, but their  
boards are little. They mention moving the board around to get at the  
heat. My PCB is so big that it couldn't be moved around in the  
hotplates I saw. The toaster ovens were big enough, and the convection  
ones distribute the heat evenly.
