For those interested in generating lots of CVs:

http://www.analog.com/en/analog-microcontrollers/analog-microcontrollers/aduc7122/products/product.html?ref=ASC-PR-274

12 independent 12-bit DACs on one ARM7 SoC. Also has a 13-chl 12-bit ADC.

A few other differences from prior ADuC processors:

* More flash (128 kB)
* SPI can run faster than 3MHz
* Vectored interrupts (still subject to ARM7 long latency though)

Downsides:

* BGA only
* No external memory interface

Could make for an interesting algorithmic control box.

Note: If the BGA issue is a show-stopper for you, check out the ADuC
702x series parts - friendlier packages but only 4 DAC outputs. I've
done some work with these and they're pretty nice little chips.

Eric
