[sdiy] Euro Knobs/Jacks?

Last time I looked into this, the jack sockets were Cliff 13841. The 
13841s are more tolerant of different shaped tips (far eastern) than 
the earlier 1384 model, which had caused some reliability problems with 
earlier doepfer gear.

A couple of years back, a friend and I did a bulk order direct with 
Cliff UK, who were helpful, and the jacks worked out around £0.33 GBP 
each, but we had to buy 1000 as a minimum order.
I have read since that some guys stateside have had problems getting a 
similar deal from Cliff USA.
