The early Serge VCOs were designed as a cheap
DIY project around 1972. They were roughly
exponential, but forget any sort of accurate
v/oct scaling. Designed more as a cheap Buchla
than a cheap Moog - playing tunes to whales etc.
They were usually used with these:

instead of a keyboard. Serge replaced them with
the (vastly better) PCO and NTO around 1976.
