I am glad to hear this. This thread needs another "opinion" like we need
solder spilled on a trace (heh) but I am happy to have the list, respect
the great people on it, and am content to flag/make rules for the few
people I don't want to hear from in my mail server.

I think this is the way to go. We're on the internet and nothing will ever
be free of content I/you/somebody doesn't want to see. Better to face it
head on and move forward than to try and work around one idiot. Especially
since that just makes it easier for one idiot to do exactly what they like
doing; disrupting the list.

Just my $.02 worth of .22 gauge wire.

To be more on topic today I reworked an old Vega shop oscillator adding an
new power cord, 1/4" and banana jack out and banana ground plug. It's a
*very* cool subsonic sine wave LFO with five (count 'em!) levels of fine
tuning to add FM among other things. Goes from Waaaay low to Waaaay high
and lots in the audible range in between. Will see how it plays nice with
my modular later this weekend.
