The Yahoo group files section is as much a problem as a solution.
To get to a file, you have to use a browser and authenticate. And
when you have jumped through that hoop, you still have to search
for the blasted thing because people typically say something vague
like "I put it in the files section" instead of giving an actual
URL.

What's wrong with uploading the file to your web page and posting
the URL ? Double left click on URL, type "wget -px " in terminal,
shift-insert, return and it's on your disk.
