[sdiy] Replacing LEDs?

So I have a LED "VU" meter which is made of discrete LEDs. Some are
blue, some white, and the top ones are red.

They are run in series, and one of the white ones is dead. It's about
half-way up, and when my levels hit that point, the meter freaks out.
Anything below that and it works fine. I've tested the LEDs
individually (in circuit with my DMM) and the others light up, but not
this one.

So then, my question: Is there any way to figure out what the specs
on that LED are so that I can replace it with a new one?
