| actually, I did something stupider than yank the springs...I
| threw it into my flight case on the way to a gig and didn't
| protect it from all the other bits in the case. When I got to
| the gig, two of the three springs were pulled out, and one of
| the wires to one of the transducers was broken off. That would
| be the other challenge, to pull a bit of wire out of the
| transducer's coil to reattach it. Oh well.....

You could still try a rebuild, fabricate your own transducers?
- never say never!
