[sdiy] Aoyue 2702A+ re-work station

I guess I was just looking for some opinions on the Aoyue. I was going
to exchange it for a different tool, because I have not had good luck
with it thus far. However, I thought that if perhaps somebody on the
list had one, and was getting good use of it, perhaps they could share
some tips. Or maybe mine is just not working properly.

The most annoying thing is that I must clear the filter in the Solder
removal gun after every other pin on a DIP type IC. This does not make
the work go much faster then using a hand held "solder bulb." Is this
just what one may expect in a $250 re-work station?
