Yeah, I do that too, but I find that soldering on 45 to 90 nm geometries
really makes my eyes tired!  ;-)

But seriously, I simulate everything (using Multisim).  That has been a real
lifesaver for me.  I'd still be trying to figure out how to stuff a Weird
Sound Generator into a videocassette case without Multisim.  Having a
simulator pushed my circuit design and understanding agenda forward by
several years.
