The best things have already been mentioned:

1 Explain it to someone else.
2 Walk away from it for a while.

Other things for me are:

3 Get in and re-read all the data sheets.
4 Take it to work where there is usually a lot of bigger and better test equipment. There is a big difference between my 5 MHz dual trace Heathkit scope and a Tek MSO4104 at work (1GHz, 4 analog, 16 digital, automatic measurements).
