Reckon so! I don't know that I can add much to what has already been said,
but if anyone wants a *serious* amount of reading, check this lot out:
First of 6 pdfs:
<http://psykok.homelinux.org/diy/UP/Youpi/PCBs/Capas/EW-WW_CapsSound_Part1.p
df>
The rest from the directory here:

Cyril Bateman tried to once-and-for-all end the debate on what/how a cap
affects audio quality, by attempting to quantify the distortion etc. that
comes from different types. Not all of it may be attributable to the way we
use caps in filters, but some of it is doubtless applicable. (I printed the
whole lot out myself many moons ago, but have only skimmed it so far...)
He also authored a series of articles 'Understanding Capacitors', first one
is:
<http://techdoc.kvindesland.no/radio/passivecomp/20061223155201146.pdf>
And again the rest are linked from here (6 in total, 1 link repeated):
<http://techdoc.kvindesland.no/radio/passivecomp/>
The Walt Jung article someone mentioned is here:
<http://waltjung.org/PDFs/Picking_Capacitors_1.pdf>
<http://waltjung.org/PDFs/Picking_Capacitors_2.pdf>
That's a huge amount of material to digest...might get around to it one day!
