Wow.. well I cleaned the sealed post but... it initially seemed to work 
better then reverted.  Checking the signal from the bender and mod..the 
bender has some spiky noise but it's working fine of course... they go i 
see to separate inputs of a 16 channel mux.  With a 15V supply and 
resistors and a small cap on the mod.  THe mod signal looks perfectly 
smooth yet it's..fouling up.

OK..taking it down real slow on the rate..here's an interesting 
observation.  Half of the waveform is smooth.  The other half is garble 
garble.  hmmm.
