[sdiy] substitute for 2SB744?

Anyone know off the top of their head a suitable substitute for the 2SB744 transistor? I believe I need to replace both in my Korg Poly 800.

On the first one (Q1) I get 13V in, 3.7V out but on the second one Q3 I don't read anything...also on pin 10 of the CN6A connector I don't get the 5V but I DO get 13V on pin 11...

To be honest I am not sure what's going on with this circuit.

My guess is instead of a linear voltage regulator used the transistors are used as part of a series regulator or zener regulator circuit?

Q1 is not warm to the touch; I guess the power consumption is not strong enough to generate heat?! (there is no heat sink attached to the device)

Input voltage of Q1 (13V) compared the the output voltage (4V) would generate any Ohmic (?) heat....

I know Mouser has them in stock but I was hoping to pickup locally (read Radioshack).

So if you know off hand of any suitable replacement part please let me know...

I looked at the datasheet for the 2SB744 but am not sure what to consider in a replacement....

Cheers,

Nate
