Paul,

Do you code in C or assembly?

I can get a lot out of Microchip products when I use asm. Especially the
ones that run 40MHz or better. It's hit and miss with C though.

Keep us in the loop.

Subject: [sdiy] Propeller CPU

Guys,

Anyone here used this? I'm currently using the AVR for my projects,
but I'm having problems with speed. Basically I'm trying to do too
much with the poort thing. So I'm looking at the parallax Propeller
CPU, nice because it's available in DIL format, but also very nice
cause it's lots of raw power for number crunching.

So I just wondered if anyone had used it, with MIDI or for synthesis
and what they thought of it.

Paul
