[sdiy] ARM thru-hole options - was Propeller CPU

Had you looked at the number crunching ability of the dsPIC from Microchip?
The dsPIC is a 16 bit processor which also can have built in goodies like ADC and DAC,
UARTS, timers, etc. Up to 40 MIPS. Through hole is available too.
