[sdiy] Multimeter advice?

Thanks for all the multimeter advice!
I think my immediate problems are over - I have
organised a loaner, a BK Precision 1390
as in http://www.tequipment.net/BK5390.html
One good thing is that I have been forced to think about what I really
need -
and I think that (at least for me personally) the only really accurate thing
I need is a voltmeter, I have never been in a position where I needed to
know a
current better than 2%, and if I am matching resistors or diodes I can match
them
perfectly well with a dodgy meter anyway.
So in the short term I'll pick up a cheapo (so I can measure another V or I
at the same time as the BK is in use) & keep an eye out for a desk voltmeter
with some precision.
