got one of these off saelig.com for cheap. it works well for my purposes but the display is weird. low refresh rate or something. reminds me of using a mid 90s laptop in cold weather if you know what i mean. it's worth it's salt over a similarly priced old analog scope though, especially if you plan on doing anything in the digital world. the fft section seems useful and though i haven't used it too much, i can imagine it might be nice for synth stuff.
