[sdiy] Reflow revisited and a bit OT, sorry

My son has at last arrived at a stage where he wants to tinker, experiment,
and think about things mechanical and electronic. I couldn't be prouder :)

He has a broken X-Box, presumably with the standard flaky solder joint
problems. While the X-Box is clearly off topic, the desire to reflow the PCB
is not.

Can anyone point me to a How-To or give me some advice regarding how to
reflow this PCB without investing $100s into some weird oven? I really
didn't find anything in my search of the archives, although one of you is no
doubt going to show me where I didn't look...

You can chastise me here of off list for the off topic question which has
probably been answered a dozen times. I can take it. I'm a man who knows how
to use a soldering iron :)
