I had the honor of working with Keith Barr during the hey day of the Midiverb. 
He was a remarkable designer. I watched him develop an entire product, from 
concept to having all materials for a pilot run, all in 2 weeks. His technique 
for hand wiring a circuit was to use wire-wrap wire and and just make a nick in 
the wire with a knife, loop around the point, solder, and off to the next point. 
Just amazing to watch. Needless to say I found it impossible to keep up with 
him. Out of all the designers I have worked with, he impressed me the most.
