  Sad to hear, seems like he really bridged the gap between a great 
engineer and a great entrepreneur.  Alesis products have amazing staying 
power in the market for some reason; a lot of effort must have gone into 
them.  I can't believe its 2010 and you can still walk out of Guitar 
Center with a DM5 and Midiverb 4 in your cart.
